Compensation Chain
- Tubular-extruded, low carbon, electrically welded proof coil chain.
- High strength chain. Every link calibrated, Uniform chain having minimum twist.
- 60 °C flame-retardant polyvinyl chlorine that resists oxidation, weathering, solvents and chemicals.
- Temperature Range: –15 °C to +60 °C.
- Rated Speed: ≤ 1,75 m/s.
- Installation Material: 2 U-Bolts.
- As per Standards EN81-1, ASME A 17.2-2007 and IS 14665 Part 4 Section 8.
- Flammability test as per IS 10810 (Part53)-1984.
The suitable temperature range of the product is -25°C - 50°C.
When you are ready to install the compensation chain, it is necessary to straighten out the chain first, or it will affect the running effect and service life.
The centre line of the damping device and the Suspension point should be in the same perpendicular line in order to reduce the friction between the compensation chain and the damping device.
The minimum distance is one meter between the installation point of the damping device and the curve bottom of the compensation chain otherwise it may cause accidents.
